This summer, we’ve been busy at Casa del Mexicano!

We began a much loved project, our community garden, and free summer music classes for families in the community.

All through July and August, families joined us to learn about multiple instruments, forms of music and dance, and gardening; all to connect with the earth in a way that uplifts culture, community, and history.

In just this short span of time, the community garden has flourished with fruit, vegetables, and flowers while children have learned to play the jarana, and enjoyed other forms of music.

Our Casa del Mexicano programming is coming to an end, and we’d love for you to join us in celebration. Click here to find out more about our Celebration Fandango!
