Araceli Sandoval

Araceli Sandoval serves as the deputy field director for Preschool California (PC), where she supports efforts to develop and implement preschool advocacy strategies across the state. Araceli is passionate about increasing access to a quality education and resources for the Latino community. She presently serves on The Time Warner Latino Advisory Board where she advises on marketing strategies targeted to Latino consumers and was appointed to the UCLA Bruin Caucus Council where she supports the university advocacy and lobbying efforts. In 2007 she was recognized with the “Mujeres Destacadas Award” (Exceptional Women Award) by La Opinion Newspaper in 2007. She earned her bachelor's degree in International Development and Chicano Studies and political science minor from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Araceli is also one of the founding members of Latinas Guiding Latinas of Tomorrow. She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and proudly raised in the Boyle Heights Community.
