Hike to the Top

ELACCs incredibly dedicated staff and Board Members will be going the 11 extra miles for a better Boyle Heights on a hike to the top of Mt. Baldy (10,064 feet – the highest point in LA) on November 5.  The event, called Hike to the Top, will be a fundraising event with sponsors for each hiker individually and collectively.  All proceeds will help fund ELACCs work in the low-income neighborhoods of Boyle Heights and unincorporated East Los Angeles. Funds will also be used to make the holidays a little brighter for the residents of our community by providing holiday Posadas to help them celebrate the holidays this year.  Our goal is to raise $10,000.

 

The 11.25 mile steep and strenuous loop hike will offer unmatched views traveling to Devils Backbone Trail and Limber Pines.  It will take about eight hours for the complete hike.
