Eastider Tidbit – “I recommend the ‘mole poblano’ from El Mercadito del Este de Los Angeles at Lorena and 1st Street, 2nd floor. There are several options to choose from and different colors and flavors but my favorite is the dark chocolate mole, which is originally from Puebla, Mexico. If you ask nicely, the woman next to the deli will let you sample all the flavors.”
