Leadership Academy – Week 3

At ELACC we believe in the development of members and their potential as leaders and organizers. Through community organizing, we work with community members to identify and lead neighborhood-based and citywide campaigns, and it all starts with our Leadership Academy. Over the course of the 7 week curriculum, participants will cover:

Week 1: Opening and Introduction
Week 2: Capitalism and the Fight for a Just Economy
Week 3: White Supremacy and the Fight for a World Without Racism
Week 4: Patriarchy and the Fight for a World Without Sexism
Week 5: Movie Night
Week 6: Environmental Justice and a Just Transition
Week 7: Power Analysis and How to Influence Politics
