Building A More Equitable East Side
Across the world, friends and family come together to lend money to each other. With Lending Circles, we’ve transformed this practice into a safe way to build your credit. Six to 12 people come together to contribute monthly payments, and each month, a new member of the Lending Circle receives the loan until everyone in the group gets their chance. Typical monthly payments are between $50-$200.
At this meeting, new or returning Lending Circles participants can attend a quick orientation and sit down to discuss monthly contributions as well as decide the order in which participants receive their disbursement. It is never too late to start an application — there is continuous enrollment year-round.
