Director, Real Estate Development

ELACC is looking for an individual with excellent management and leadership skills who thrives in fast‐paced environments and is committed to social justice. The ideal candidate can lead feasible affordable housing and community serving real estate developments which enhances the economic and social justice of our community members. The Director of Real Estate Development will manage the development portfolio, oversee and mentor staff, and cooperate with their peer directors to successfully implement ELACC’s mission. Qualified individuals will have a successful track record of completing affordable housing developments and a proven ability to develop and monitor systems that deliver ontime and on‐budget real estate developments.

Real Estate Project Manager

ELACC seeks an individual who is highly motivated and organized. Applicant should have either a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in affordable housing development or a Master’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in affordable housing development. Responsible for working in a team environment with ELACC’S Real Estate Development, Finance, and Asset Management departments. Under the supervision of the Director of Real Estate Development, the Project Manager, shall be able to demonstrate experience in working on acquisition projects, by identify properties available for development within ELACC’s service area and submitting responses to RFP/Q’s. The Project Manager shall be able to coordinate all aspects of pre-development, including applying for and securing financing, preparation of proformas, entitlements, oversight of design professionals for the purpose of obtaining building permits, and construction loan closings from numerous funding sources.

Fund Development Associate

ELACC seeks an inspiring and organized individual to join our team. The Fund Development Associate implements the organization’s grant writing and management component of fund development. This position requires knowledge in social and economic justice strategies and should have experience working with diverse communities and understand the experience of low and moderate-income individuals and families. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and one to two years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. At least one year of professional writing experience or the ability to produce a strong writing sample and excellent proofreading skills is also required.
