Today, the Metro Board voted to extend our Exclusive Negotiation Agreement (ENA) for Lucha Reyes Apartments by six months, giving us more time to meet with community members to discuss its design and features.

This is a big win for our organization and community. The ENA will allow us to continue to work closely with Metro and the Office of Supervisor Hilda Solis to advance Lucha Reyes and bring more affordable housing and space for community-serving retail to Boyle Heights.

We are looking forward to working closely with residents concerned about how the development will interact with the plaza, including nearby businesses and the mariachis that give it so much life. Our team is excited to hear more about your vision for how the project can best serve the community. Stay tuned for more information about future planning discussions.

Lucha Reyes Apartments will include 60 units of desperately needed housing that is affordable for families with low to moderate-income. For more information on this project, please visit elacc.org/luchareyes.
